Way back in May, the California and Washington contingents came out to see the Somerville and Boston contingents. We did a number of fun stuff around here - Beacon Hill garden tour, Red Sox game (rain delay and we got SOAKED), family birthday party for the many spring birthdays, and then we took a day trip to the Vineyard. It was such a lovely day, and incidentally Aunt June's birthday! We wandered around Oak Bluffs and the old camp meeting grounds, then went to Edgartown for wandering, lobster, and ice cream (and revisiting many happy memories of being there for Jess and Geoff's wedding). We bussed back to Vineyard Haven for a bit of playtime on the beach before our ferry. Oh, it was so hard to say goodbye to our dear visitors.
Unfortunately, about half our pictures were mysteriously deleted when we transferred from our camera, but a few good ones survived.
