Started with a wander over to the nearby park to survey our new city...

Saturday we went hiking on the peninsula...
Found a lovely, shady grove for a picnic.
Tried to eat flowers.
Climbed on logs.
That night we enjoyed a yummy dinner at a fun little burger joint in Cole Valley. Grace's favorite dinner = fries and a chocolate shake. Steve and I indulged in a FNL marathon to catch up on the weeks we missed.
Sunday we headed to Burlingame for a bbq hosted by Emily. We climbed the deck stairs. A lot. As in, the entire time we were there, someone had to be climbing the stairs.
Goofed around.
Surveyed the garden.
And tried to feed Emily and Adam carrots. Veggies are good for other people.
Good family time - excellent weekend!
Followed by Steve getting called into the hospital twice on Monday. At least two days felt like a long weekend.

Warms my heart to see you enjoying life back out west. Miss you terribly but excited nonetheless. Grace is really looking like a toddler these days and not a baby. *sniff*
