The forecast for today is 82 degrees. Being that it's mid-October, it's weird as all get out. Nevertheless, I guess that summer is summer whenever it arrives. It brings that giddy feeling that makes getting out bed a little easier and chores and work a little less oppressive. It feels like April in Boston and that one or two days of spring in the northwest. Everyone is wearing dresses and capris and shorts. We'll be spending the weekend hiking, having park play dates, and visiting friends near the beach. Tonight Grace and I are going to hit the playground until dusk. But really, it's so bizarre to put on a sundress and then talk about what everyone's kids will be for Halloween.
