Apple picking

A few weeks ago we went apple picking in Stow with Emm.  It was a perfect day - bright blue sky, big clouds, warm enough.  New England is really good at fall.  Apple picking is such a funny east coast thing... it always feels a little silly to pay money to traipse around and pick apples since our yard growing up had a bunch of apple trees and my grandparents' house had an orchard.  Nevertheless, it's always so much fun, a great fall activity.

 Caramel apples and cider donuts.

Henry was all over my donut.  Lucky he's still too young for me to have to share.

Henry is in love with leaves.  Whenever he's in the stroller and catches sight of them overhead, he gets a look rapture on his face.  So this was rather thrilling for him.
