Monday it was 18 degrees and the thrill of winter was gone. And today, it's in the 60s. Snow in the forecast for tomorrow... what's this nonsense all about?

First Snow
The first snow was Sunday! After a yummy breakfast of waffles (with the excellent and indulgent recipe from the Joy that Andrea, Pete and I discovered last summer) with Grandma Nan and Aunt Mary's blackberry jam from the berries from Grandpop's farm, we headed out to lightly falling snow. Walked over Beacon Hill, which is so picturesque during the holiday season, to church and then wandered around the Common and the Public Garden enjoying the giant snowflakes. Boston at its best!

Monday it was 18 degrees and the thrill of winter was gone. And today, it's in the 60s. Snow in the forecast for tomorrow... what's this nonsense all about?
