I heart Maine

Watching your child play with one of your oldest friend's children while drinking campfire (aka Nate's special Islay scotch) is a good way to spend the weekend. We almost had to cancel the long-planned trip to Maine again for a sick child, but so glad we risked it. As usual, we had a fab time with Rachel, Nate, and Molly and got to meet their newest family member, Isla!

All the weekend photos are here, but just few highlights...

Old friends, new people.

Jazz hands.

Walking practice.

Double fisted.

Building a tower taller than Molly!

Ladies' morning walk.

Not shown is the yummy ice cream from the seasonal walk-up stand (one of my favorite New England treats), excellent bbq dinner by chef Nate, early morning bagel run (moms' morning out), and the HD antenna project carefully undertaken by the boys. What a good time.

P.S. I always love visiting people who live in houses. Such a treat, not to mention the fresh Maine air.

  1. My pictures are still sitting on the camera but will upload soon. Had a fabulous time with you all. Grace is such a beautiful baby girl. I feel so lucky we got to spend time with you 3 this weekend. Thanks again for making the trip!
