Steve's mother saved a number of his childhood books, which she sent back with us. Last night, Steve was reading them with Grace and said he could very specifically remember reading them and lifting the flaps in Spot's First Walk. He said it was kind of weird. I think it's very sweet.
One of the books was called Kate the Cat. I wonder if this is a sign of some kind? I did have a stuffed bear named Stinky Steve...
